Katy Brown is the Corporate Vice President for Microsoft’s Americas Enterprise with $23B+ in revenue, responsible for directing Enterprise sales, services, and partner efforts across the US, Canada and LATAM.
A 27-year Microsoft veteran, Katy has a proven track record of driving growth through strategic initiatives and sales programs. Prior to her current role, she served as Corporate Vice President for the US Software and Digital Platforms OU, Vice President for the West Region, and Vice President for the Northwest Region. She has also led as General Manager for the NorCal District and spearheaded Microsoft’s US National Sales Excellence, where she drove innovation in sales enablement, customer satisfaction, and strategic planning. Her leadership across multiple regions and functions has earned her numerous awards for sales achievement, management, and leadership.
Before joining Microsoft, Katy spent more than a decade at IBM and Lotus Development Corporation. She is deeply involved in her community, serving as past Board Chair and President of PBWC and as a board member of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and WinWire Technologies.
A native of San Francisco, Katy has a B.S. in managerial economics from the University of California, Davis. Her executive education includes IBM Advanced Business Institute and advanced leadership courses at Microsoft. Katy has three daughters, Sarah, Molly, and Emily, and enjoys running and yoga in her spare time.
